Photo club will offer education programs

The Sisters Area Photography Club (SAPC) will present a series of educational programs designed to address the basics of digital camera photography.

The first subject to be covered in February in this "Getting to Know Your Camera" series will be the "Camera Dial." The symbols found on digital camera dials will be explained, followed by a demonstration and hands-on interaction with club members. SAPC members, as well as anyone having an interest in joining the club, are invited to

attend.

The program is part of the club's meeting at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, at the Sisters Library.

At its early January annual meeting, the Sisters Area Photography Club elected board officers for the coming year. Those elected are: Curtiss Abbott, president; Greg Waddell, vice president; Richard Seiple, treasurer; Linda Ziegenhagen, secretary; and Mary Smith, Gary Miller, and Roger Detweiler, members at

large.
