Sisters sheriff's calls...

• A woman was seriously injured when she was struck by a vehicle at a bonfire party east of Sisters. Sheriff's office detectives are investigating the incident.

• A man reported that an ex-tenant hired a locksmith to pick a lock, allowing the ex-tenant to take property from a garage without permission. The incident was referred to the district attorney's office for review.

• A dog escaped from a Sisters home and was aggressive toward the deputy who located it. The owner, visiting the area from Texas, was given a verbal warning.

• Several vehicles slid off roadways due to icy conditions, striking trees and fences.
