Sisters business at a glance

• Sandy Goodsell, a principal broker of

RE/MAX Revolution, has been awarded the 2011 Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the Central Oregon Chapter of the Women's Council of Realtors.

The annual award recognizes a realtor member who fully exercises their potential as an entrepreneur and real estate industry leader, and who shares their time, talent and experience with others in the profession and community.

• The Sisters community is invited to help "Pack the Pickup for FAN" on February 11. Collections will be underway at the Ray's Food Place parking lot on Saturday, February 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Items needed for donation to Sisters Family Access Network are: laundry detergent; dishwashing soap; shampoo/conditioner; children's toothbrushes.

• Courtney Blust, of Sisters, is selling Butter Braid braided pastries as part of a Mr. SHS fundraiser. Each pastry serves 11 people and has a flavored filling inside. The different flavors that are offered are: apple, blueberry/cream cheese, cinnamon, cream cheese, and raspberry. There is also the option to purchase caramel rolls (nine count). Each pastry costs $12.

All orders must be in by February 15. The pastries will be arriving on February 28, and Blust will personally deliver them.

All of the money that we raise through this Mr. SHS fundraiser will be donated to our local Family Access Network.
