Sisters sheriff's calls...

• A juvenile offender stole a substantial amount of cash from a patron of a local business. The offender was caught and most of the cash recovered.

• A shoplifter was reported at a local grocery store.

• A camera was stolen at Sisters High School.

• A deputy picked up two dogs running at large on the Sisters Airport runway. This has apparently been an ongoing problem in the neighborhood.

• Someone did criminal damage to a Sisters stop sign.

• A deputy found a man hoofing it on the Highway and gave him a lift into town and help getting a room for the night.

He suggested that the bus would be a more efficient way to get to Washington.
