Sisters business at a glance

• Crescent Moon Alpaca Ranch hosted a shearing event June 16. Hundreds of folks turned out for the event, which also included a barbecue, a sale at the boutique, music with CinderBlue and a classic car show. Visitors were welcome to stroll into one of the pastures to get up close to mothers and babies, even petting the calm, gentle South American natives.

A portion of the day's proceeds from sales of fleeces, clothing and alpacas went to the Redmond Humane Society.

• Kimberly Gorayeb has joined Metolius Property Sales as a sales associate. "Kim brings a solid business background and great enthusiasm to our team," stated Jeff Jones, principal broker. "She will be a real asset to both her clients and our office."

• Angeline's Bakery & Cafe will begin its summer music series this Friday, June 22, with Funk Shui at 7 p.m. On Saturday, June 23, Jeffrey Martin with Gwyneth & Monko play, also at 7 p.m. Cost is $5 to $10 sliding scale.
