Hot rods set to roll into Sisters

Dust off your poodle skirts and saddle shoes and head out to Main Avenue in downtown Sisters for the Sisters Area Chamber of Commerce's fourth annual Sisters Glory Daze Car Show, scheduled for Saturday, July 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

An awards ceremony is set around 3 p.m. Raffles include a 50/50 drawing that benefits a scholarship program for a Sisters High School 2013 graduating senior planning to attend college for the automotive industry and a raffle for automotive goodies.

Registration is open to all makes and models through 1989 and is $25 per vehicle.

"This is always a lot of fun. It has been exciting to plan and brings something different to Sisters," said Jeri Buckmann, Events Director for the Sisters Area Chamber of Commerce. "People enjoy classic cars. It was an era that can't be forgotten."
