Sisters Country will see smoke from Waterfall fire

The lightning-sparked Waterfall fire northeast of Mt. Jefferson on the Warm Springs Reservation is now estimated at 2,700 acres.

Depending on winds, there may be some smoke impact in the Sisters Country.

Fire officials warn of the potential for lighting-sparked fires with thunderstorms that are expected to cross the region over the next couple of days.
