McAllister tallies second straight hat trick

Jake McAllister tallied his second consecutive hat trick, his third so far this season, to lead the Outlaws to their 6-0 shutout over the Elmira Falcons at home on Tuesday, October 9.

McAllister scored Sisters' first goal of the contest in the 13th minute to get the Outlaws rolling. Justin Harrer passed the ball over to Jake, who went one-on-one with the keeper and put in a nice shot to the lower-right corner.

At the 21-minute mark Jardon Weems played a ball up the right side to Evan Rickards who made a low, hard cross over to McAllister. Jake made a nice back-heel finish for the score. Just six minutes later, Keenan O'Hern passed the ball 20 yards down the right side and Rickards picked it up, dribbled to the 10-yard mark and with his left foot sent the ball along the ground and into the right corner of the goal to give the Outlaws a 3-0 lead.

McAllister finished the hat trick with one minute left in the half. He beat five Elmira defenders and scored just inside the 18-yard box to push the Outlaws to a 4-0 advantage as they entered the half.

Colton Mannhalter scored an unassisted goal midway through the second half. Colton took a shot from the top of the 18 that hit the crossbar and bounced straight down into the goal.

The Outlaws' sixth and final goal came with two minutes left on the clock. Ryan Pollard dribbled past the Elmira defense and scored a nice shot past the keeper for his first varsity goal. The final two minutes ticked off the clock and Sisters recorded their fifth straight league win.

Coach Rob Jensen said, "The team continues to play as a unit and take steps forward. I really like the discipline and work ethic of the team. The bench did a nice job of coming in and keeping up the tenacity of the game."

Sisters out-shot the Falcons 51-0 in the contest and hold the No. 1 spot in league with a 5-0 record. Overall, the Outlaws are 9-1. Sisters will play at home against Cottage Grove on Thursday, October 18.
