Swap will benefit toy drive

Folks in Sisters can shop for interesting and gently used items while helping others this holiday season.

The "Swap Till You Drop" fundraiser benefiting "The Spirit of Christmas" toy and food drive will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, November 30, and Saturday, December 1, at the Sisters Fire Hall Community Room.

All proceeds from the sale will be used to purchase Christmas gifts for local families.

Donations will be accepted on Thursday, November 29, at the Fire Hall.

The event grew out of the online Sisters Swap program initiated by Leigh-Anne Durham. Sisters Swap is a women-only online Sisters Country community creating a free, no-fee swap between local friends. The program's motto is "good things from good homes to good girlfriends."
