Born on Thanksgiving Day in New Orleans, Joe is survived by his children, Hank Randolph and Maddi Randolph; his father William Randolph, mother Brenda Cherami; and sisters Kay Pollard and Fran Rollins.
Joe led a life filled with adventure as an athlete, hunter, and fisherman. When Joe was not fishing he spent time coaching his kids and community teams, sharing his passion for play.
Also known as Steelhead Joe, he was one of the best steelhead guides in the Pacific Northwest. He was at peace and in his element while in the woods or on the river fishing.
Joe was loved dearly by his family and many friends throughout California and Oregon.
A service to honor his life will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28, at the Asilomar Conference Center, Evergreen Meeting Room, corner of Sinex and Crocker Avenues, Pacific Grove, CA.
