• Sisters Movie House and Sisters Athletic Club will host the women's track and field documentary "We Grew Wings" on Sunday, December 9, at 1 p.m.

"We Grew Wings" chronicles the story of the University of Oregon women's track and field team and the progression of women's sports over the last 40 years since the passing of Title IX, mandating equal opportunities for women in prep athletics.

• Cowgirls & Indians Resale has moved into new quarters next door to The Pony Express on Oak Street between Cascade and Hood avenues.

Owner Kate Aspen will host a grand opening on Saturday, December 1, featuring Jill Charlotte Stanford signing her new book, "You Might Be a Cowgirl If... A Guide To Life on the Range" from 1 to 3 p.m.

The new store offers more square-footage, which Aspen intends to fill with antique furniture, Western decor, Native American baskets and beads and Western artwork, to go along with her selection of quality consigned Western clothing, from boots to hats and specializing in gently used Double D Ranch Wear, vintage jackets, skirts and vests.
