What an awesome community this is! It was a beautiful tree lighting ceremony last Friday evening in Barclay Park.
A big thank you to Joel Aylor and his crew from Sisters Tree Service, Deschutes Land Trust, the City of Sisters, Gary Frazee, Anvil Blasters, Pete Rathbun, Three Sisters Lions Club, Si Simonsen and Hoodoo Recreation for making this year's event very special.
This year we had the tallest tree ever, 44 feet tall! Even though it rained during the parade, it was still a great crowd.
Frosty & Cinnamon Bear - you were fantastic! The Hodag passed out special passes for the Autobahn at Hoodoo.
Santa visited with over 100 kids at the chamber (and a few adults squeezed in, too).
Thank you to all of you who participated in the parade, a great day had by all. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
