Applicant: City of Sisters

Request: Amendments to the Sisters Development Code that would make vacation rentals "outright permitted uses" rather than minor conditionally permitted uses in the zones that presently allow them; change the class of violation for sign violations from a Class C infraction ($500 fine) to a Class A infraction ($100 fine).

Location: The proposed code text amendment affecting vacation rentals will apply to the zones that presently allow vacation rentals, which include the two primary residential zones, to the two primary commercial zones, and to all land zoned Urban Area Reserve. The change to the sign violation fine amount and infraction class would potentially affect every zone within the city.
