Tickets on sale for Chamber ball

The Sisters Area Chamber of Commerce is conjuring up some Mardi Gras magic at its masquerade ball set for Friday, February 22. Don your mask, catch a few beads, and find out the winners of the 2012 annual Sisters Country awards.

The masquerade ball will include a full no-host bar, heavy hors d'oeuvres provided by The Depot Café, and a silent auction.

At the event the Sisters chamber will present the 2012 annual awards for Business of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Non-profit of the Year, Citizen of the Year, Customer Service Business of the Year and the Pioneering Spirit Award.

Guests are encouraged to wear masks for the event, but any attire - casual, formal, or a themed costume - is welcome.

"The Mardi Gras theme last year was so fun and guests really got into it," said Jeri Buckmann, Sisters Chamber Membership Coordinator.  "Everyone had a fun mask. I can't wait to see what people come up with this year."

The masquerade ball will be held at FivePine Conference Center, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 per person or $250 for a table of eight. Reservations are available until February 15 by calling 541-549-0251 or emailing Jeri Buckmann at [email protected]
