Sisters business at a glance

•â¯Three Creeks Brewing Co. recently hosted its first beer and dessert pairing event.

Bend "Beer Librarian" Mark Lindner, author of the By the Barrel blog, noted that "There were four pairings. The desserts were all full-size portions while the first three beers were 4 oz. pours in taster glasses, with the last being a good 10 oz. in a snifter."

Lindner praised the event: "I say kudos to Three Creeks Brewing. Keep up the good work."

Three Creeks Brewing Co. will follow up with TCBC Beer 101 on February 9 at 4 p.m. Head brewer Zach Beckwith will offer a presentation on the basic ingredients and the brewing process, followed by a sensory analysis which includes a taster tray. Reservations required, call 541-549-1963.
