Chamber hosts social media workshop

The Sisters Area Chamber of Commerce will host an introductory workshop to "Social Media for Small Business" on Tuesday, May 7, at 8 a.m.

This free workshop is a part of the Business Discussion Group Series. Doughnuts and coffee will be provided.

Lynnette Braillard, marketing director for Visit Bend and owner of LuLish Design will be the guest speaker. This workshop will focus on the basics of having a business presence on social media including Facebook, Twitter, and blogging. Braillard's history with Visit Bend and partnership with Travel Oregon will offer a unique perspective on this topic that will help tailor businesses messaging toward attracting and capturing visitor interest.

"There are a few tips and tricks out there that everyone can take advantage of to make the most out of their limited time and resources available for social media," says Braillard. "I look forward to working with the business owners and staff in Sisters to help spread the Sisters Country message."
