Dorthy Gridley June 23, 1927 - June 9, 2013

After 33 years of marriage, Dorthy Gridley lost her husband, Elmer. On June 9, 2013, Dorthy joined Elmer.

She was born in O'Donnell, Texas in 1927. When she was young, her family moved to Central Oregon. Dorthy loved going to the cowboy dances and everything Country & Western. Her door was always open, and she always shared everything, even when she didn't have much.

A simple gravesite service will be held at Camp Polk Cemetery on Thursday, June 13 at 11 a.m. Dorthy loved the town of Sisters and everyone is invited. The family may be contacted at 971-221-9857 for more information.

Dorthy is survived by seven children, 16 grandkids, 18 great-grandkids, and two great-great-granddaughters, and many more adopted family members. She will be missed.
