Ashley Hixon has opened Lil Britches on Main Avenue in Sisters.
Moms looking for clothing for their little ones have gotten used to driving to Bend or Redmond. Now, Ashley Hixon has opened Lil Britches to meet their needs right here in town.
"I have two little kids myself and I find that having to drive to Bend or Redmond to find things is kind of a pain in the butt," she said.
Lil Britches carries everything from onesies to shoes, bedding, toys, books, gift sets - and some hand-made blankets created by a 13-year-old boy. Clothing runs from preemie to size 16.
Most of the items are gently used donations for resale; limited consignment is available.
Hixon and her husband, Josh, are both Sisters High School graduates from the class of 2005. They have returned to Sisters to raise their children here.
"If you're getting ready to have a baby and need to fill the nursery, I have almost everything you need," Hixon says.
