Habitat Thrift Store celebrates 20 years

The Sisters Habitat for Humanity Thrift Store will celebrate its 20th anniversary on Saturday, August 24, at a catered banquet at The Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration. The Sisters community is invited to help celebrate.

For 20 years, the store has provided a place for folks to recycle unwanted clothing and housewares, purchase quality used goods, and volunteer. The proceeds of the store have helped to provide housing for 50 families.

There will be a silent auction and a presentation about the history of the store. The event starts at 5 p.m. and the cost is $15. RSVP by Monday, August 19 to the Habitat office, 541-549-1193.
