Rodeo announces queen tryouts

It's time for the Sisters Rodeo Association Queen Tryouts. This is an opportunity for young women to compete for the title of the 2014 Sisters Rodeo Queen. The competition is open to young women that live within the state of Oregon, and are between the ages of 18 and 23 years of age at the time of tryouts.

If elected, they will have the opportunity to represent the Sisters Rodeo around the state of Oregon in various rodeos, interviews, parades and other promotional activities.

Tryouts will be Sunday, September 22, at 1 p.m. at the Sisters Rodeo Arena in Sisters.
