Betty J. Carroll December 23, 1941 - November 19, 2013

Betty J. Carroll, of Redmond, died November 19, 2013 at St. Charles Medical Center - Redmond.

Betty was born Dec. 23, 1941 in Rixford, Pennsylvania to Samuel and Beatrice Bailey. She moved to Oregon with her father, step-mother and eight kids in a Willys pickup when she was 16 years old.

She married Charles (Bud) Carroll August 16, 1967 in Stevenson, Washington. She loved spending time with her family and friends, making people laugh. Everybody was Betty's friend, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her greatest joys.

Betty is survived by her daughters Leta (Phil) Bidwell of Terrebonne, Sue (Mac) McKeown of Albany, and Tina (Joe) Mills of Crooked River Ranch; granddaughters Amanda, Luann, Latesha, Kayla, Karissa and Destenee; grandsons Joseph, Steven, Kyle and Riley; 15 great-grandchildren; a brother Daniel of Colorado; sisters Joyce, Brenda, Donna, Diane, Virginia, Patty and Judy; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles (Bud) Carroll; mother, Beatrice Bailey; father, Samuel Bailey; and brothers Samuel and James Bailey.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, November 30 at Niswonger-Reynolds Funeral Home in Bend.
