News and Opinion from Sisters, Oregon
Bethanne Kronick, local business owner, speaker, author and productivity strategist, has seen her share of frazzled folks working long hours and feeling like they are never getting on top of their tasks and projects. She's made it her mission to help the harried and stressed-out find easy-to-implement strategies to get more done, with less stress, in less time. She has just released a new book, "SIMPLIFY! One Day at a Time - 365 Ways to Improve Productivity," with daily tips, strategies and inspiration for focus and productivity (available at Paulina Springs Books and at www.simplifynw.com).
The book features an entry for each day of the year with time-tested strategies for improving productivity and focus. Kronick specializes in helping clients improve and address the many distractions that can keep them from high-value projects.
"I'm passionate about helping people in today's over-wired world live with less stress and find more energy," says Kronick.
In early 2002 she established her company, SIMPLIFY!, offering presentations, workshops and trainings on a variety of topics related to focus, organizing and productivity. She speaks to organizations about how lack of focus and organization can hinder companies from growth and have significant financial implications.
About the newly published book, she notes, "I'm hoping that this book will be an encouragement to anyone looking to improve their productivity and focus. Each reading will take just a few minutes each day and it's written in a way to help keep readers on track with making good choices about how they use their time. It's a small investment that can help free time for following their passions, investing more time in important relationships and using their energies to be more productive in all their roles at home and at work."
After reading "SIMPLIFY! One Day at a Time," Kronick's client Judith Morris remarked, "Bethanne's positive approach to life is infectious. She genuinely desires to see people live full yet simple lives and has provided great tools to aid in the journey toward success."
Many of Kronick's clients are working in downsized environments - doing more with less. Tips for making the most of time at work are a timely resource. The strategies translate to all levels of responsibilities and can help anyone improve productivity and find life/work balance. Her clients make positive, long-term changes, whether it's managing overflowing email boxes, stacks of paper, busy schedules, cluttered space, or facing life's greater challenges.
Organizations benefiting from her training include Portland General Electric, SAIF Corporation, JELD-WEN, Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU), Port of Portland, Oregon Society of CPAs, Clean Water Services, Bonneville Power Administration and more.
