Chamber welcomes new board members

Victoria Graves of Three Creeks Brewing Company, Javier Luna of Rancho Viejo, and Mandy Strasser of Hop N Bean have joined the nine-member board of directors of the Sisters Area Chamber of Commerce.

New board members will take office at the Masquerade Ball on Friday, February 21.

Graves, Luna, and Strasser were elected by the general membership during the fall 2013 election. According to Executive Director Erin Borla, the Chamber tries to build a complex board where every individual offers a unique background helping to promote the Chamber's diversity and the variety of interests of its members.

The newest members will join Kelly Cyrus (Aspen Lakes Golf Course), Marcea DeGregorio (Washington Federal), Ann Richardson (Sisters Folk Festival), Scott Huntsman (Black Butte Ranch), Chris Wilder (Sisters Log Furniture & Home Décor) and Jeff Perin (The Fly Fisher's Place). Greg Willitts (FivePine Lodge & Conference Center) will remain on the board as past-president for one year per the bylaws of the Sisters Area Chamber of Commerce.

Wade Underwood, (Three Creeks Brewing Company) and Jacquie Zanck (Blazin Saddles Cycle-N-Style) both completed their three-year terms on the board of directors.

"These dynamic individuals dedicated hours of service to the Chamber and our community," said Borla. "I appreciate their ability to embrace the mission of the Chamber and their dedication to enhancing the Sisters Country."
