Sisters salutes...

SSGT Jacob Merrell, USMC, has returned from Afghanistan after completing missions as senior crew chief with VMM-165, MAG-16, 3rd MAW. It was his third

deployment.

The 2004 Sisters High School graduate was back in Sisters visiting his parents last week while on leave with his wife, Amy, and daughter, Olivia.

He is stationed at MCAS Miramar.

"It is always good to be back home in Sisters," he said. "It never fails to recharge me."
