Business at a glance

• This coming weekend the Kiwanis-sponsored workshop continues building the Fir Street Pavilion timber frame at the Earthwood Timber Frame Homes shop running roughly 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. On Saturday, June 28, the workshop group raises the frame at the new Fir Street Park.

• Outlaws Barber Shop will host a grand opening on Monday, June 30, in Barclay Square, 190 W. Cascade Ave. Ste. 5. They're offering free hot dogs and drinks from 4 to 6 p.m. The shop will be open for business July 1. It's an old-school barber shop that specializes in hot shaves and clean cuts.

• Rio Restaurant will celebrate the opening of its patio on Thursday, July 3, with a new fire pit, new menu items, and music by Mike Biggers. The celebration funs 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. There is no cover charge.

• Three Sisters Healing Arts is now offering "cupping" - a form of therapeutic bodywork that is used to facilitate deep tissue release. Cupping focuses on reducing stagnation and restrictions in problem areas by breaking down adhesion/knots and increasing fluid circulation.

• From July 5 to July 27, members at Sisters Athletic Club (SAC) will be honoring the Tour De France cycling race by hosting the Tour De SAC. Members will log their bike miles and compete for overall mileage, weekly mileage and longest ride prizes. All participants will be entered into a raffle to wine a brand new Felt Bixby Cruiser bicycle from Blazin Saddles bike shop. This celebration of the Tour De France is a partnership between SAC and Blazin Saddles cycle shop.
