Sisters Salutes...

•  Sisters Young Life would like to thank Melvin's Fir Street Market for allowing middle and high school kids to have a car wash last Saturday in the parking lot of the store. The money raised will enable these kids to go to camp for a week at Young Life's Washington Family Ranch.

•  Tessa Kelley Richard graduated May 11 from Benedictine University in Chicago, IL ,with a Master of Science degree in management and organizational behavior. She is a member of Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society.

•  Andrew Wilson graduated summa cum laude from Oregon State University-Cascades in Bend, on June 15, with a degree in liberal studies with a plan of study in fostering creativity in education and a minor in child development. The following day he started a Master of Arts in Teaching program at the OSU-Cascades Graduate Center. He will be at Sisters Elementary School this year for his teaching internship. Andrew is a 2008 graduate of Sisters High School. His parents are Steve and Barb Wilson of Idaho, and his grandparents are Bob and Bunnie Wilson of Sisters and Vernon and Ruth Bowlby of Corvallis.
