A packed house at Volcanic Theater and Pub in Bend roared with laughter at the nine-episode series "The Barista Times" on Saturday evening.
The series of short comedy sketches created by Nathan and writer-actor Emily Woodworth is being released over the month of July on Youtube.
The skits are a comic take on the life of a barista, filmed on location at Sisters Coffee Co. and featuring local talent. Sam Pyke's Hill Shadow Productions filmed the shorts and music was provided by musicians from the Sisters Folk Festival's Americana Project.
Nathan Woodworth said one of the production's conscious goals is to support the arts and commerce in Central Oregon.
Woodworth screened all nine episodes of Season One of "The Barista Times" on Saturday. He also opened the show with an onstage display of his talent with impressions, providing dead-on comic renditions of John Wayne, Dr. Phil, Jack Nicholson, Jim Carrey and many others. Singer-songwriter Nina Horner also performed.

"Woodworth told The Nugget that subscriptions are key to generating ad revenue to support production of future seasons of "The Barista Times."
"View us, like us, but subscriptions are the most important thing in helping the series grow," he said.
There is no cost to subscribe to a YouTube channel.

Revenue raised will go into the production of more films.
"The goal is just to create more great comedy for people to laugh at," Woodworth said.
