Cody W. Aberman March 8, 1987 - July 1, 2014

Cody William Aberman, 27, of Pickerington, Ohio, passed away in his sleep suddenly and unexpectedly on July 1, 2014 in Sisters.

Cody was born March 8, 1987 in Columbus, Ohio.

Cody graduated from Pickerington North High School in 2005 and the Central Ohio School of Broadcasting in 2013. He was employed by Mad Sky Roofing and Restoration, and NBC Universal Production Services for the Golf Channel. He covered the 2014 Senior PGA Tournaments in Branson, MO and Pittsburgh, PA.

Cody loved his family and loved to golf, make films, music videos, fish, hike, work, photography - Cody loved life.

Cody will be deeply missed by family and friends. Especially, his best friends Nick Mernedakis (Kansas City, Missouri) and Ainsley Brougher (New Albany, Ohio). Cody also leaves behind the love of his life, Carolyn Fendler Knapp, of Kansas City and her daughter Adalyn. Cody had said that he had found the "one" that he wanted in his life forever.

Cody is survived by his mother Lori Leigh Mohler of Pickerington; sister Ashleigh Morgan Canfield (Cory) of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; grandparents William and June Mohler of Pickerington; nieces Chloe Buynak and Cadance Canfield of Reynoldsburg; uncles Charles Mohler of Sisters, John Mohler (Coleen) of Cincinnati, and Gregory Mohler (Sandy) of Canal Winchester, Ohio; cousins Jessica, Sara, and Margaux of Oregon, Sean, Megan, Shannon, Austin, Jordan and Betsy of Ohio and Mandy of Illinois. He is also survived by his father, John Aberman, of Virginia.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Natalie Aberman, Danny Mann, Brenda and Charles Stouder; great-grandparents Mildred and Merle Mohler and Dorothy and William Roach.
