Outlaws host volleyball camp

The Outlaws volleyball program held a team camp last week for three days at Sisters High School.

The camp was a cooperative event with Burns High School.

Paula Toney, head coach of the Burns High School volleyball team, was the lead coach for the camp. She brought three of her former players to help coach, and 14 players.

Sisters' head volleyball coach Miki McFadden added 22 players from Sisters as well as seven coaches to help run the camp. Gabby Parker, recent grad of University of Washington, a top NCAA Div. 1 volleyball team, was another addition to the coaching staff.

Several Sisters families hosted the Burns players and coaches at their homes during the camp. Ray's Food Place, Martolli's Pizza and the Sisters School District helped to provide lunches and dinners for the three-day camp.

"Paula ran a terrific camp with great instruction, drills and fun for players from both schools," said McFadden. "She has coached four state championship teams at Burns High School."
