Sisters business at a glance

• Baldwin Hat Co. of Sisters won mention in True West Magazine's article "The Hat Rules" (October 2014, page 39) for its George Briggs hat in 100 percent beaver fur felt. It is the style of hat worn by Tommy Lee Jones in his latest Western, "The Homesman," due out in November. The photo of "The Homesman" hat was taken by Sisters photographer Lynn Woodward.

• Clearwater Gallery is set for Dan Rickards' 12th annual print giveaway.

Doors open at Clearwater Gallery at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 11. 

The first 150 people will receive a complimentary fine art print. This year's print is the second painting in the National Park Collection depicting Redwood National Park.
