The Outlaws had seven players selected to all-league teams, and juniors Logan Schutte and Devin Slaughter were at the top as first-team picks.
Schutte was a first-team running-back and defensive back selection; he was the Outlaws' leading rusher this season.
"Logan has great work ethic and vision as a running-back," said Coach Gary Thorson. "Defensively, he provided great run support from his free-safety position for our team all season long and he is a leader in the secondary."
Slaughter was a first-team defensive-line and second-team offensive-line pick. Devin led the Outlaws in sacks on defense and showed great athleticism at the defensive-end position.
"Devin steadily improved all season long and still has room for growth, which will be trouble for future opponents," said Thorson. "Offensively, he runs very well at guard and was a big plus in the ground game."
Sophomore Jacob Gurney and senior Will Luff both earned second-team honors.
Gurney was named second-team all-league linebacker and also earned honorable mention at guard. Jacob led the Outlaws in tackles, and according to Thorson improved at a steady pace over the course of the season.
"Jacob is a physical player on both sides of the ball. He gives his best at all times and loves the game - something that every program has to have to be successful," said Thorson.
Luff was a second-team all-league kicker selection and was a great addition to the Outlaws squad this year. Will put several balls in the endzone on kick-offs, which is critical in the field position battle, and he also did a great job as punter.
Three players were honorable mention: senior Lane Gladden and juniors Rory Petterson and Mitch Gibney.
Gladden was recognized at defensive-back. Thorson told The Nugget that Lane has shown great improvement as a player from last year, has become a force from his corner position and was instrumental in key league wins at Cottage Grove and Junction City.
Petterson was honorable mention offensive-line. Thorson stated that Rory is a leader by example and was one of the Outlaws most consistent and steady players all season long.
"Rory is a good athlete and has a great commitment to excellence," said Thorson.
Gibney earned recognition at running-back and was the Outlaws' leading scorer this season.
"Mitch is arguably the most physical runner in the league," said Thorson. "His physical style was a great complement to our outside run-game and he was also a threat out of the backfield as a receiver."
