Quick and Easy Boys kick off spring

The Quick and Easy Boys will headline The Belfry's Spring Break Kickoff Party on Friday, March 20.

Jive Coulis will open on a guaranteed-fun night of dancing to get folks in the mood for spring.

The Quick & Easy Boys are a power-trio out of Portland, who create their own blend of rock and roll. Imagine the Minutemen, the Police, and Band of Gypsies rolled into one.

Formed in 2005, The Quick & Easy Boys quickly made a name for themselves in Eugene before relocating to Portland and becoming a renowned nationally touring act.

Their shows are an interactive party, with electrifying stage antics and profound musical moments as the trio pours out every ounce of their energy, leaving nothing behind.

The band has gained the reputation for moving a crowd all night long whether it be a big festival or a tiny watering hole.

The core members - Sean Badders on vocals and bass, Jimmy Russell on vocals and guitar, and Casey Anderson on drums and vocals - have continued to evolve musically ...

and audiences continue their enthusiastic calling of "Yeah Bud!" at every show.

Eric Leadbetter and Jordan Mack started Jive Coulis with Tyler Hale back in 2005. They released their first demo in 2006 which was recorded at Immersion Studios in Boulder, Colorado. They then released their first album in 2008. They toured all over Colorado for three years before deciding to move out west to Oregon.

They have developed a unique rock style that can only be heard at a Jive Coulis concert. Their veggie-oil-powered tour bus, Sharleena, has seen many states and is ready for many more miles of touring.

The show kicks off at 8 p.m.; doors open at 7 p.m. Cost is $10.

The Belfry is located at 302 E. Main Ave.
