Project will close Camp Polk Road

A two-week road closure of Camp Polk Road between East and West Barclay Drive will start on Monday, October 5 for the construction of the Camp Polk Road & Barclay Drive Sewer and Street Improvement Project.

Sun Ranch Road in the industrial park will be the designated detour route.

The project will include reconstruction of approximately 1,060 feet of Barclay Drive to bring it up to city standards by replacing existing substandard roadway pavement. Landscaped drainage swales, street trees and paved paths will be installed and approximately 1,000 lineal feet of 12-inch sewer line will be added to connect Sisters Eagle Airport to the existing 10-inch sewer main, located at the intersection of Barclay Drive and Camp Polk Road.

The total project construction schedule is 52 calendar days, with the completion date set for November 25.
