SAW hosts campfire gathering

All are invited to "Gather 'Round the Campfire" and enjoy the warmth of the fire cauldron in front of the Sisters Art Works Building, 204 W. Adams Ave., on Friday, January 22, from 4 to 7 p.m.

The hand-forged copper firepit created by artist Jeff Wester of Ponderosa Forge in Sisters was installed last September as a public art installation sponsored by The Roundhouse Foundation. This will be the first time the community will be invited to gather around and enjoy the beauty of the campfire and meet the artist who created it.

Music will be provided by Sisters favorites Brad Tisdel and Brent Alan and more (bring your instrument if you'd like to join in).

This event will coincide with an artist reception for Kim Kimerling's show, "Exploring Mixed Media Collage" currently on display in the Sisters Art Works Entry Gallery through March 20.

Enjoy some delicious Moonstruck Mexican hot chocolate, a cup of hot chili, and the warmth of the fire with friends and neighbors. The event is free to the public.
