Sisters salutes...

• Lorelai Moffat wrote: For the holidays, my class took a trip around town to paint windows. I would like to tell you a little more about that trip. I really enjoyed doing the painting and want to thank the people who let us paint their windows. That was Martolli's, Your Store, and Stitchin' Post.

I hope when people saw our windows it brought a smile to their face. My partner was very kind and helpful. When we were painting our window I could tell that we both were having lots of fun. We designed our window to put people in the holiday spirit. After everyone finished painting we had a hot chocolate party at Barclay Park. I will look forward to seeing next year's designs on my way to the middle school.

The level of attendance and engagement to learn about tools to encourage respectful communication exceeded our expectations!

C4C thanks Fire Chief Johnson for providing the meeting site and volunteers Barbara Secrest and Toni Landis for ensuring that attendees had a comfortable and nourishing environment to learn and interact in.

Thank you to Sisters Coffee Company and Hop N Brew for donating beverages and snacks, and to Sisters Folk Festival for providing the amplification system for the speaker.

Thank you to the many event attendees who filled out a feedback form to provide Citizens4Community with guidance on how to move forward with the Speak Your Peace project, as well as for their encouragement for C4C to provide additional information and educational resources to improve communication at higher levels.

The engaging conversations were inspiring and provided hope to many.

We are so proud to call ourselves citizens of Sisters Country.

They were in tune with our operation and continually provided a viable gateway for customers to easily access Ace Hardware! Thank you, Casey Vantress, for the constant communication and thoughtfulness as the project gets underway. Excellent job!
