Florence "Shirley" Beck February 21, 1930 - February 16, 2016

Shirley Beck, 85, died February 16 at her home in Sublimity.

She was born in Swea City, Iowa, living in Sisters (which she loved) from 1989 until moving to Sublimity in 2015.

Shirley was an accounting clerk for 15 years, last working at Cal State University, Northridge. She married William "Bill" Beck, Sr. on March 15, 1952, in Duluth, Minnesota.

Shirley was a very devoted mother and grandmother and loved the outdoors. She was a wonderful cook and entertainer, and loved entertaining her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, William of Sublimity; children: Robin Hedrick of Grants Pass and William J. Beck of Stayton; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by three brothers.

Private family services will be held.
