Carl Franklin Judd went home into the arms of his Heavenly Father, after living a life with his eyes always on Him.

Carl was born in Portland, to Yvonne and John Franklin Judd. He graduated from Salem Academy, and served as a medic in the Army during the Korean War. He retired from Moore Business Forms after over 40 years, before moving to Sisters to be near family. Carl is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Hartman) Judd of 42 years, and preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia (Blevins) Judd.

Carl had five children: Cindy (Judd) and Harry Miller; Laurie (Gesner) and Gary Hunter; Daryl and Cristi Judd; Leslie Gesner and Jay Sloane; Eden (Judd) and Kevin Miller. He also had 11 grandchildren: Dawn, Christian, Gabriel, Grace, Josh, Davis, Jessica, Laurel, Kagan, Michaela, Lexie; and great-granddaughter Penelope, as well as several honorary grandchildren.

Carl's God and family were his priority; he loved to fish and have a fun time. Carl passed peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends. The family thanked Partners in Care Hospice. He will be missed by many who knew and loved him.  Celebrate Carl's life on Saturday, April 30, at 4 p.m. at Sisters Community Church.
