Three council seats will be up for election

Three Sisters City Council seats are up for election on November 8, 2016. The terms of Andrea Blum, Amy Burgstahler, and Chris Frye will expire on December 31, 2016.

All three are eligible to re-apply for election.

To be eligible one must be registered to vote in Oregon and must have been a resident of the city of Sisters for 12 months preceding the election.

Election materials may be picked up from the City Recorder at City Hall, 520 E. Cascade Ave. Candidates are encouraged to obtain election materials by August 16 and must submit perfected petitions by August 30 at 5 p.m. in order to qualify for the ballot.
