Young cowgirl competes for anthem singing slot

Molly Gaynor, formerly of Sisters, has made the top three in the youth division for a slot singing the National Anthem at the National Finals Rodeo later this

year.

The fans will decide the one winner that will sing the Anthem before one of the 10 performances in December. The voting will begin on September 26 and end on October 7 when they will announce the winner. The site that the voting will be on is www.nfrexperience.com. A video of her performance may be found on that site as well.

Molly is 10 years old and went to Sisters Elementary School for two years until her family bought a ranch in Powell Butte. Last year she started at the Powell Butte Charter School. She competes in Pee Wee Rodeo and 4-H and helps on the family ranch.
