Wednesday morning's vote tally showed incumbent city councilor Andrea Blum with 796 votes and Chuck Ryan with 785. Richard Esterman had tallied 551. The three candidates were on the ballot for three open seats on the council.
Write-in candidate Kathryn Lindbloom secured 10 percent of the vote.
Sheriff Shane Nelson won election to his postion with a 55-45 percentage against challenger Eric Kozowski, who conceded Wednesday.
Republican Phil Henderson maintained a 53 percent to 46 percent margin over Democrat Alan Unger in the race for Deschutes County Commission Position 2.
