The Weather Machine to rock The Belfry

Indie folk rock band The Weather Machine is returning to the Belfry for their second annual Thanksgiving hometown throwdown show.

The group's last appearance was at the Sisters Folk Festival when they said farewell to cellist and Sisters High School grad Matthew Cartmill, who followed his heart to Seville, Spain, in September. This show marks the first appearance of the band's new lineup, fronted by Sisters local Slater Smith, with Luke Hoffman on drums, Andre Zapata on bass, Noah Bernstein on saxophone, and introducing Tim Karplus on electric guitar. This show will likely be The Weather Machine's last appearance before they disappear into the studio to work on their third full-length album. Prolific lyricist and songwriter Jeffery Martin opens the night.

The show is set for Saturday, November 26. Doors open at 7 p.m.
