Sue Ellen Musser Marx January 14, 1947 - August 18, 2017

Sue Ellen Musser Marx, born January 14, 1947, died peacefully in the early hours of August 18, 2017 at Partners in Care Hospice in Bend.

Sue is survived by her husband, Fred Marx, and sister, Meredith Musser Brundage (Michael), both of Redmond. She is predeceased by her parents Glen Charles Musser and Pauline (Doolittle) Musser.

Sue leaves behind three stepchildren, Cyndi Michael, Kelly Marx, Daryl Marx; 10 grandchildren and three beloved nieces, Kirsten Brundage, Mollie Brundage Suhonen (Antti) of Denver and Erin Brundage Berg of Bend, as well as her cherished dogs, Zelda and

Willie.

Sue lived a full extraordinary life. She graduated from North Salem High School and Oregon State University before becoming a flight attendant for TWA. She married the love of her life, Fred, in 1987 after which they jointly became small-business owners.

After retiring from the agricultural business in the Willamette Valley, they moved to Central Oregon where they remained business partners in a thriving and successful real estate partnership with Eagle Crest Properties.

Sue had many hobbies. She was an avid golfer, active in golf communities both at Bend Country Club and Eagle Crest Resort. In 2016, she delighted in winning Eagle Crest Women's Low Net Ladies Championship. Sue loved the outdoors, including whitewater rafting, mushroom scouting, trips to the beach and extensive travel. She was an exceptional cook and had a passion for entertaining.

Sue was a wonderful wife, business partner, sister, sister-in-law, stepmother and aunt. Most of all she was a friend with a heart of gold and a blessing to her many friends and family.

There will be a Celebration of Life Sunday, September 24, at River Run Event Center, 730 Blue Heron Dr., Eagle Crest Resort from 2 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to Partners in Care Hospice in Bend.
