Helen Middleton April 17, 1930 - November 12, 2017

Helen Geraldine (Holland) Middleton, 87, passed away November 12, into the loving arms of her Savior Jesus Christ.

Helen was born April 17, 1930, to Jesse and Julia Holland in Thompsonville, IL. After graduating from E. St. Louis High School, she attended business college. She was married to Ralph Laverne Wollam from 1951-1974, and they had four children together. Helen then was married to Orvil Lee Middleton from 1975-2000, when he passed away.

Helen enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her family. She was very artistic, and loved painting, drawing, and woodworking.

At age 16, she accepted Christ as her Savior. She served the church for many years in various leadership roles, including as a minister's wife, Sunday School teacher, and Vacation Bible School director.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Julia Holland; husband, Ralph Laverne Wollam; husband, Orvil Lee Middleton; son, Wayne Wollam; brother, Lester Holland; and sister, Christine Little.

She is survived by her brother, Kenneth Holland, Joplin, Missouri; brother, Charles Holland, West Frankfort, Illinois; son, David Wollam, Madras; daughter, Brenda Phillips, Sisters; daughter, Tina Griggs, Prineville; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life was held Tuesday, November 21, at the Prineville Funeral Home.
