Cordoni takes the reins at Cascade Sotheby's

Patty Cordoni is the new branch manager and principal broker at Cascade Sotheby's International Realty in Sisters.

Cordoni brings years of experience and deep familiarity with the market to the position. She's been with Cascade Sotheby's for the past eight years, and extolls the level of support brokers receive through the brand and through the tools created to help them market properties.

"It alleviates a lot of the administrative part of our job, so we can go out and list and sell," she explained.

Cordoni helped to create some of those tools, so she is well positioned to accomplish her main mission as branch manager.

"I'll be training and mentoring brokers," she said. "It's a big job because there's so many brokers." And, she noted, "we have training programs to bring in new brokers."

Cordoni noted that Cascade Sotheby's deploys technology to assist its brokers, which is appealing to young brokers just getting into real estate.

"The younger generation has the ability to pick that up and run with it," she said.

Everything about her new position is a natural fit.

"For me to manage this office makes sense, just because of my knowledge and my background with the company," she said.

In addition to her background in farm, ranch and residential home sales, Cordoni has deep roots in the Sisters business community. She has a background in corporate planning, marketing, and served as economic development manager for the City of Sisters. She is a volunteer for the Sisters Rodeo Association, and served as president for the Sisters Area Chamber of Commerce and on the board of directors for the economic development team for the City of Sisters.

She sees a strong real estate market in Sisters, noting that many people are coming out of Bend looking at homes in Sisters. Cascade Sotheby's is the agent for the Clear Pine and Grand Peaks subdivisions, and she expects to see other subdivisions come online in the relatively near future.

And, she notes, "we still have builders who build custom homes ... as long as the economy stays good, we should be OK."
