Outlaws cheer team ends strong season

Sisters Cheer earned fourth place at the State cheerleading competition on Saturday, February 15th and placed third the following weekend at the OCCA championships. The Outlaws cheer team went up against the best teams in the state at Veterans Memorial Coliseum for the State Cheerleading Competition.

The cheerleaders performed their best routine yet, with no deductions from their score for technical violations.

This weekend, the cheer team participated in crowdleading, a sub-category of cheerleading in which the team does a cheer, stunt and tumbling sequence with no dance involved. This is the first time that the Outlaw cheerleaders participated in crowdleading as a competitive event, and they did very well.

The Outlaw Cheer team is looking forward to their upcoming season in the 2020-21 school year and for many newcomers to the team.
