News and Opinion from Sisters, Oregon
Three Sisters Floral has a new location at 243 N. Elm in Sisters — formerly The Porch restaurant.
This unique flower shop owned by Ruth Raizin had been located on Main Avenue.
Raizin told The Nugget, “Our move was precipitated by sale of the building we were in. However, we found a beautiful old farmhouse and more than doubled our indoor space, with beautiful shopping quarters.”
“The large store makes social distancing easy — people are very respectful and masks are always worn,” Raizin noted. “We’re happy with the store and the plants are too, they love all the windows.”
Raizin has always loved gardening and is known for her attention to detail with tasteful, unusual arrangements.
The flower and gift shop has unique things, like fragrant roses in a rainbow of colors, wildflowers in the middle of winter, and creatively arranged and custom bouquets for any occasion.
“We shop all over the world for our flowers in order to have the freshest and widest variety of product in season,” said Raizin. “A lot of our customers are repeat customers and we’re very proud of that.”
She added, “We also carry a large selection of houseplants which people are especially interested in now as everyone spends more time at home these days.”
Flowers, plants, gourmet truffles and a great assortment of cards make perfect gifts as friends and family are looking for something special to lift their spirits these days.
Raizin also noted that the backyard is roomy and this spring they will have hanging baskets which they are known for and vegetables and perennials — a full nursery.
“We love what we do, and we offer delivery, as we always have, from Camp Sherman to Black Butte Ranch and to Bend and Redmond, too,” she said.
